Embracing Spring at Fresno County Blossom Trail
There are many lively signs when spring arrives, the blooming flowers are just one splendid representation of it. After all, when these vibrant colors start to show, it is simply impossible to neglect them. Things are more precious when they are hard to come by, just as the spring blossoms may only last for a few weeks, so this year we made sure we are in time to catch its beauty at Fresno County Blossom Trail.
Trail Map and Parking
Fresno County Blossom Trail is a large area designed to be explored by driving or cycling, the roads are built with wide shoulders, so it is super easy to pull over and stop whenever and wherever you feel like. However, definitely pay attention to bees onsite and pay respect to private properties. There is a map for recommended route as pictured below:
We followed the recommendations and started our tour from Simonian Farms, a local store with fresh fruits and nuts and other convenient store items. The decorations here are super unique with lots of vintage items, and the large yard outside offers tons of fun things to see. There are also printed brochures available to grab for the blossom trail, as well as a well maintained restroom onsite.
Almond Blossom
Whatβs more beautiful than a blossoming almond tree? Miles and miles of blossoming almond trees. It is like entering a world of white petals, blooming on the branches, flying in the air, laying on the ground, filling every visible corner of our eyes.
The white to pink Ombre makes these flowers even more captivating, elegant and sophisticated, yet passionate and vital.
Sharing one more photo here, because we couldnβt get our eyes off this blooming wonderland.
Peach Blossom
As we continue our drive on the trail, peach trees came into sight with their signature pink color - bold, vigorous, and simply eye-catching.
You donβt have to love the color pink to praise these blossoms, pink doesnβt define their beauty, pink just enhances it.
Did we forget to mention that it will easily put you in the romance mood? Love is definitely in the air here ;)
Orange Trees
The last portion of our route consists of endless fields of orange trees. Though we didnβt catch any orange blossom, we did see more oranges in our life than any other time.
There are so many beautiful things about spring: the end of cold weather, the refreshing scent surrounding us, the spreading of joy and happiness, the blossoms that will brighten up even the darkest days - and all of those in another word, hope.
